Behind the sea2see

WE BELIEVE IN MAKING POSITIVE

W-A-V-E-S

We redesign a supply chain where waste has value in order to create a sustainable and scalable solution that reduces marine plastic and improve the lives of marginalised coastal communities living in biodiversity hotspots of developing countries

Where you see waste, we see raw material.

WASTE

Education is key in order to transform the vision people have of waste

AWARENESS

One properly collected and selected waste becomes valuable.

VALUE

Collectors have access to a new source of income, thanks to the amount of waste collected.

EARNINGS, 5 KG WASTE = 1€

Less plastic, cleaner coastal environment, cleaner Ocean, more fish and seastainable supply chain.

SUPPORTING THE UNSUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

OUR IMPACT

From our supply chain to products manufactured with 100% Upsea™ up-cycled marine plastic, we actively contribute to 6 of the 17 Sustainable development goals that were formally adopted in September 2015 by the UN General Assembly with the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.

SEA2SEE CONTRIBUTES

ALLEVIATION OF POVERTY ACROSS LOW INCOME FISHERMEN COMMUNITIES

Every waste collector in West Africa will get 1€ for every 5kg collected.

BUILDING A CLEAN- UP FAMILY TO INCREASE EMPLOYMENT

We are currently increasing by 200% the income of 500 families of fishermen involved in the collection of plastic on coastal areas.

FOCUS ON CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Pair text with an image to focus on your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.

COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS IMPACTS

The use of our UPSEA™ recycled raw material means 30% to 80% less carbon footprints, less water, and no petrol usage.

1 TON OF PLASTIC GEAR RESCUED = 125 TONSOF FISH SAVED

Collecting marine plastic and preventing it from decomposing in the Ocean has a direct impact on marine life.

PARTNERSHIP FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Teamwork to reach our goals. Thanks to the different partners involved in the transformation of waste to products, we are able to prove that circular economy is possible, even in the fashion industry.
